Business Credit Principles & Financial Statement Analysis 2: Credit and Risk Assessment

Thinking of earning a certification in 2025? Need to brush up on your risk assessment skills?

Consider completing one of our two powerhouse certificate courses during Credit Congress. In Cleveland, we offer two options: Business Credit Principles and Financial Statement Analysis 2: Credit and Risk Assessment. Both are full-day courses, which start on Saturday, May 17 and end on Wednesday, May 21. Participants must attend all five segments of the course and must complete the exam offered on the final day, Wednesday afternoon, May 21, to pass the course.

Successful completion of the Business Credit Principles course satisfies one of the three required courses for the Credit Business AssociateSM (CBASM) designation. Financial Statement Analysis 2: Credit and Risk Assessment (FSA2) is an excellent preparatory class for the Certified Credit Executive® (CCE®) designation exam and is also a core course for NACM’s Certified Credit and Risk AnalystSM (CCRASM) designation.

A certificate course fee of $429 along with the purchase of the course textbooks are required in addition to the Full Delegate registration fee.

Business Credit Principles Certificate Course Details

A comprehensive course for credit analysts and CBA applicants. Successful completion of the Business Credit Principles course satisfies one of the three CBA course requirements.

About the Course

This intensive course offers a comprehensive look at the credit function. FSA2: Credit & Risk Assessment Course Details

FSA2 is an excellent preparatory class for the CCE designation exam and is a core course for NACM’s CCRA designation.

This intermediate financial analysis course has been designed for credit analysts, risk analysts, and managers seeking a comprehensive understanding of what’s behind the numbers in financial reports. It is designed to improve the credit & finance professional’s ability to analyze and interpret financial statements leading to quality credit risk assessment. The program gives equal weight to the process of financial reporting, the analysis and interpretation of financial statements, and the steps required to document a quality credit line recommendation.

Course Prerequisites

It is strongly recommended that participants have completed a Basic Financial Accounting course. To participate actively and gain the most from this course, students will need to join this class with a firm understanding of accounting concepts. Also, it is recommended that Financial Statement Analysis 1 be completed before this course.
