ATTENDEES CONGRESS CREDIT

Welcoming Our Peer Learning Labs Facilitator

Molly Ketchum

Molly Ketcham is a facilitator and keynote speaker who creates environments where collaboration, curiosity, and trust naturally thrive. With two decades in the meetings and events industry, she has led teams, negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts, and driven company growth. Molly knows firsthand how important it is to bring people together in ways that are both productive and engaging, guiding conversations that surface ideas, strengthen relationships, and spark solutions. A Distinguished Toastmaster and president of the National Speakers Association Ohio Chapter, she brings both professional credibility and a warm, approachable presence to every group she leads.

We were excited to have Molly join us at the Credit Congress in Cleveland to lead a breakout session, and are even more pleased to have her engage and entertain in St. Louis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Earning a Seat at the Table

Tuesday, June 9  (1-day lab; 3 sessions; $249)

In today’s business climate, credit doesn’t operate in isolation. Sales, Legal, IT, Finance, and the C-suite all play roles in how credit risk is managed. Too often, misalignment between departments slows down decision-making, increases risk, or limits credit’s influence.

This peer-to-peer session invites credit leaders to share challenges and brainstorm solutions for breaking down silos, gaining leadership support, and building stronger partnerships across the organization. Together, we’ll explore practical ways to demonstrate credit’s strategic value, align goals across departments, and create collaborative workflows that balance growth with risk management.

You’ll walk away with fresh insights from your peers and actionable ideas to strengthen collaboration in your own organization.

Succession Planning: Preparing the Next
Generation for Relationship-Based Accounts

Wednesday, June 10 (1-day lab; 4 sessions; $249)

For credit managers, succession isn’t just about filling a role. It’s about protecting the trust, knowledge, and relationships built over years with key accounts. When a veteran manager steps aside, the continuity of those relationships can determine whether customers remain confident and loyal or question the stability of your company.

In this peer-to-peer session, you’ll dive into the real challenges of succession planning: how to transfer trust with relationship-based accounts, capture and pass along critical institutional knowledge, adapt communication styles across generations, and train successors in the judgment and nuance required for risk assessment. Together, we’ll share strategies for easing customer concerns, mentoring the next generation, and building a stronger pipeline of leaders who can carry credit relationships forward with confidence.
