We are pleased to again welcome Dr. Jeremy Graves as our Leadership Workshop facilitator.  This year, two one-day Leadership Workshops are available alongside the conference. Change Leadership Workshop

Tuesday, May 20  (1-day workshop; 3 sessions; $249)

This workshop, based on Dr. Jeremy Graves’ new book, Change Leadership – The Art of Moving from Resistance to Resilience, will help you learn how to embrace change and overcome the challenges that it can bring. We will discuss the psychology of change, the curve, and how to develop your adaptability quotient. We will also provide you with tools and strategies that you can use to manage change more effectively in your professional life.

Topics and workshop activities will center around:

  • Understanding the Nature of Change
    • Developing a Change Mindset
    • Embracing Change as a Partner
    • Strengthening Partnership as a Change Advocate
  • Navigating Teams through Change as a Change Champion

The workshop combines theoretical knowledge, practical exercises and interactive discussions. Participants will gain invaluable insights and skills to lead and adapt to change confidently, ensuring their teams and organizations can thrive in dynamic and unpredictable environments. The ultimate goal is to empower participants as change agents, capable of embracing and harnessing change’s potential to drive organizational success.


Intergenerational Leadership Workshop

Wednesday, May 21  (1-day workshop; 4 sessions; $249)

The workplace is now home to five generations, each with its own unique perspective on work, values, and communication. Leading and building a multi-generational team is essential for success in our ever-changing, globalized workplace. This interactive workshop will explore the dynamics and strategies of leading and building this diverse workforce. We will discuss how to leverage differences, find common ground, and celebrate the strengths of a multi-generational team.

Topics and workshop activities will center around:

  • Generational theory and how it effects today’s workplace
  • A strength-based approach to building a multi-generational team
  • The importance of defining moments within a given generation
  • Events that shaped Traditionalists, Boomers, Generation Xers, Millennials, Gen Z
  • How core values and work ethic are expressed generationally
  • The importance of using CORE (Collaboration, Objectives, Raising Up, Empowering) to help develop your leadership capacity


Participants will:

  • See their team through the lens of generational theory (which can increase empathy)
  • Leverage and build on the strengths of a multi-generational team
  • Examine the core values and work ethics of differing generations
  • Develop their capacity to effectively lead a multi-generational team

Participants will be given copies of Dr. Graves’ books and will receive a certificate of attendance upon conclusion.
