This year’s keynote speaker, Chester Elton, is co-author of several successful leadership books, including the best-selling, The Carrot Principle. The Carrot Principle reveals the results of an in-depth management study. It illustrates that the central characteristic of the most successful managers is providing employees with frequent and effective recognition. Mr. Elton’s presentation introduces the simple steps to becoming a Carrot Principle manager and to building a recognition culture in your organization. He shows how the power of purpose-based recognition produces astonishing increases in operating results.

Chester Elton is the senior vice president of the Carrot Culture Group with the O.C. Tanner Recognition Company. He has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, Washington Post and the New York Times. The Carrot Principle has been a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best seller.
