The Business Credit Principles certificate course is a week-long class that is separate from all other educational break-out sessions. Successful completion of the course satisfies an NACM Certification Program requirement. Participants must attend all five course segments (30 hours) of the course and must successfully complete the exam offered on the last day (Wednesday, June 13) to earn course equivalency. A certificate course fee of $299 and the purchase of the course textbooks are required in addition to the Full Delegate registration fee.

This is an intensive course, which offers a comprehensive look at the credit function. It is intended for those preparing for the Credit Business Associate (CBA) exam. Topics include: Credit in the Business World, Credit in the Company, Organizing the Credit Department, Credit Policy and Procedures, Legal Environment of Credit, Terms and Conditions of Sales, Negotiable Instruments, The Legal Forms of Business, The Uniform Commercial Code, Credit Investigations, Know Your Customer, International Trade, Financing and Insurance, Business Credit Fraud, Making Credit Decisions, Customer Visits, The Credit and Sales Partnership, Out-of-Court Settlements and Bankruptcy Code Proceedings. Participants must attend all sessions and pass an end-of-course exam to receive course equivalency. Pre-registered attendees will receive a course outline and advance reading assignments. Participants are encouraged to purchase and review the textbook, Principles of Business Credit, from the NACM Bookstore in preparation for the exam.

SILENT AUCTION
