The 2010 Credit Congress was a grand success, and there was no better way to celebrate it than with this year's Closing Night Party. Following three solid days of enlightening education, discussion and networking, Credit Congress attendees gathered in a ballroom dressed to impress in disco balls, glow sticks and streamers for a groovy '70s-themed party.
Arriving decked out in Afros, bellbottoms and platform shoes, partygoers grouped together at the many tables surrounding the dance floor, then moved on to the elegant buffet and bars to pick up their choice of delicious food and beverage. A disc jockey provided music throughout the event, spinning classic songs from the '70s that were too much for attendees to resist, as they quickly migrated to the dance floor to do the Hustle and other disco-themed moves. At one point, a pair of go-go dancers arrived and Twisted their way up to two platforms that flanked the dance floor, adding to the disco club feel.
Midway through the party, ACM and UTA President and longtime NACM supporter Dean Middleton took to the stage to present prizes to the lucky winners of an array of prizes sponsored by ACM and Fifth Third Bank. Cynthia Wieme, CCE, MICM, CICP and Karolina Mark each won a $250 American Express gift card courtesy of Fifth Third. The evening's biggest winners were Cynthia Jaeger, CCE, who won a free registration to next year's Credit Congress, to be held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville; Pam Faulk-Turnbull, CCE, Jennifer Ginter and Debbie Smith, who all won subscriptions to NACM's Mechanic's Lien and Bond Services (MLBS) Lien Navigator; and Tehmina Khan and Joanne Martin, CCE, who both won weeklong cruises made possible by ACM's generous sponsorship.
NACM congratulates all the evening's winners and thanks ACM for its generous support of this year's Closing Night Party!
