Networking Opportunities

Credit Congress is the perfect opportunity at which to develop and strengthen relationships that will expand your professional resources by creating valuable connections. Consider attending these events to grow your professional network:

On Saturday May 21, enjoy a special offering unique to Nashville at the NACM’s professional designation holders and NACM Graduate School alumni event. Gather with old friends and potential contacts for a Songwriter’s Showcase over casual fare and drinks in Opryland. A Songwriter’s Showcase, made famous by Nashville’s own Bluebird Café, is an intimate look into the art of songwriting. Up-and-coming artists try out their songs, sharing the muse behind and meaning of their creations. Attendees get a rare treat, a glimpse into the creative force behind Music City and the hits that we hear on the radio, the songwriters.

The stunning Gaylord Springs® Golf Links is the site of this year’s 6th Annual NACM Scholarship Foundation Golf Outing. On Sunday, May 22, attendees can both support the NACM Scholarship Foundation and test their skill on the links as they meet new faces in this casual setting. After a (hopefully relaxing) round of golf, participants gather for a barbeque lunch to swap stories and exchange business cards. Proceeds from this event benefit the NACM Scholarship Foundation, Inc. For more information on the event, please click here.

NACM’s international arm, Finance, Credit and International Business (FCIB), hosts its annual luncheon for those involved in international credit on Monday, May 23. The FCIB Luncheon is an essential forum at which to network with international credit and trade finance executives.

The International Utility Group (IUG), dedicated solely to utility credit and its role in the business community, welcomes participants at its Annual Utility Group Members Luncheon on Monday, May 23.

The Credit and Financial Development Division (CFDD) Annual Luncheon is held on Tuesday, May 24. During the event, CFDD conducts its Awards and Officer Installation ceremonies.

The NACM Scholarship Foundation Silent Auction is a lively and entertaining event to raise funds for credit education scholarships. Held in conjunction with Monday night’s Beer & Browse Reception in the Expo Hall, the Foundation asks for everyone’s support through donations to the Auction or as a bidder at the event. For details about the Silent Auction, please click here.

The largest networking events of the conference are the Grand Opening Reception, the Beer & Browse Reception and the Closing

Night Dinner and Party. All delegates are invited to attend these events as part of their full delegate registration. The Opening Reception, held in the Expo Hall on the evening of May 22, welcomes delegates as they visit with vendors and greet their colleagues over drinks and appetizers. Monday night’s Beer & Browse Reception is another chance to explore the exhibits and connect with fellow delegates in the Expo Hall.

The conference concludes on Welocash_posed1dnesday evening, May 25, with NACM's Closing Night Dinner and Party: Nashville Nightlife, featuring music by the talented and dynamic LoCash Cowboys—playing
an encore to their 2006 Credit Congress debut. Kick up your heels and say your goodbyes to all of the new delegates, vendors and NACM staff you have met throughout the conference.

NACM proudly recognizes its volunteer leaders with a special invitation luncheon. On Wednesday, May 25, NACM, with the kind support of United TranzActions, acknowledges members who distinguish themselves as leaders, locally and nationally, at the annual Leadership Luncheon.
